Here it is!
Here it is!
The beauty of dance
By Meg B.
I love to prance and dance,
And whirl and swirl,
As I practice and practice I get that
feeling,
The feeling of dance,
The beautiful, happy feeling of dance
It may seem hard,
Like you just can’t do it
But if you keep trying you truly can!
Then you go on stage
As you leap across the floor,
Then end in a curtsy!
As everyone claps,
You feel that feeling, that true
beautiful
The beauty of dance!
Do you like it?
Dream, live and dance on!

Hello! This week I'll be telling you about good music for dancing to. From ballet to hip hop!
First we'll talk about:
Counttry or calm classic music is good for ballet
EXAMPLES:

- Arms by Christina Perri
- Ordinary day by Vanessa Carlton
- Enchanted by Taylor Swift
- Eyes open by Taylor Swift
- Jar of hearts by Christina Perri
- Breathe Anna Nalick
- Classic pieces like; Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, etc.
Hip Hop!
Pop songs are best for hip hop.
EXAMPLES:
- TTYLXOX/Something to dance for mashup
- I knew you were trouble by Taylor Swift (when she says "now I'm lying on the cold hard ground". Fall onto the ground then slowly pull yourself up as she say "oh, oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble".)
- Firework by Katy Perry
- Shake it up theme song by Selena Gomez (when she says, "bring the lights up" put your arms on your side and slowly raise them to your head. When she says, "bust the doors down" Bring your arms all the way to the floor.)
- Love you like a love song by Selena Gomez
- Tell me something I don't know by Selena Gomez
- Give your heart a brake by Demi Lavoto
Ballet
and
Hip hop
Mix songs!
These are the songs that have a mix of genres.
EXAMPLES:
- You're not sorry by Taylor Swift (Chorus will be hip hop. The begining and other parts are more sad. They will be ballet)
- We are never getting back together by Taylor Swift (All of the song except for the part when she says, "I used to say that we are forever ever, and I used to say never say never..." is hip hop. The part above is ballet.
- Red by Taylor Swift (The only part that is hip hop is when she says, Loving him was red, r-r-r-red.)
