Chapter One

Nancy's school for girls

"Wow!" exclaimed Emaline Smithens as she jumped out of the bus. Her sisters went to the same when  they were younger. Emaline was  and nervous. Since Emaline was ten she was finally old enough to go to the boarding school.


A girl with golden red hair named Hannah was the only one she knew in the school so she was kind of nervous. Hannah and Emaline were best friends. They walked to the great hall together where tons of girl were chatting and laughing. They were all waiting for their name and room number to be called.
 "Smithens, Emaline room 13" the speaker announced. "Come on.. Hannah... Hannah..." Then the speaker announced the next name, "And Bailey,Meg Room 13." (yes this character is based off me ) "Oh well see you at breakfast tomorrow," Said Emaline as she set off to find her room and meet her roommate. 


Every year each room had two calenders one for each girl, and to beds opposite from each other. It also had two windows above the beds and two desks.


"Hi, I'm Emaline, Emaline Smithens." Emaline introduced herself to Meg.
"Hi, I'm Meg Bailey do you want to be friends." replied Meg.
"Sure," Emaline answered.


Before we knew it we were both talking and laughing with each other. It turned out it was Meg's first year to! And Emaline was glad to be her first friend.


"This is going to be a great year!" Thought Emaline.
